Another Saturday is upon us and I have a few new details to discuss. Get your preferred drink and let’s get to it:

LinkedIn Connects with WeChat

WeChat, the world’s quickest increasing public app (says LinkedIn) now has LinkedIn baked-in. The texting system released in Chinese suppliers this year and now has 600 thousand customers (or less, depending on who you ask.) The app does appear to be very well-known with customers outside of the US and could be very useful if you’re doing company in Chinese suppliers or India

When you link your consideration up to WeChat you can take over all your connections with a few mouse clicks and quickly discuss your LinkedIn customer profile with people all over the world.

HootSuite Has Something to Crow About

HootSuite just brought up $60 thousand in new financing providing the company’s value up to $1 Billion money dollars! (Dr. Wicked would be extremely pleased.) CEO He Holmes informed re/code that some of the money would be used for products. The company just obtained Zeetl – a start-up operating on speech phone calls from public networking content. That could be large for client support. Recently, the public networking app accepted in its 10 millionth customer and I’m extremely pleased to say, I’m one of the 10 thousand. Go HootSuite!

Yahoo is passing the silver observe to a number of old favorites:

Qwiki: Many times, we find a technological innovation can be best used through incorporation. On Nov 1, we will closed down the Qwiki app, which instantly developed brief films depending on activities from a user’s electronic camera move. The Qwiki group will keep innovate on new electronic press encounters for Google customers. To obtain material you’ve developed with Qwiki

Directory: Google was began nearly 20 years ago as a listing of sites that assisted customers discover the Internet. While we are still dedicated to linking customers with the details they’re enthusiastic about, our company has progressed and at the end of 2014 (December 31), we will stop operating the Google Directory.
